Blue-black-white tricolor is hoisted on Toompea for the first time

On November 21, 1918 Estonian Provisional Government accepted the blue-black-white tricolor as the Estonian national flag.

At 15.00 PM, on December 12, Estonian national flag is hoisted to the flag tower in Toompea for the first time.

On June 21, 1940 the flag is removed from Tall Hermann flag tower. It was there again in the morning of following day. The flag was removed for the last time on August 6, 1940, when the ESSR was found and incorporated to the Soviet Union.
